Star Post 309 invites you to its third annual charity golf tournament to raise funds for our      veteran and youth programs

This year we are proud to host our tournament at the exclusive private California Country Club

Monday, September 16, 2019 - Shotgun start at 7:00 AM sharp

Proceeds from this year's tournament will be used to send high school aged boys to the American Legion Boys State where participants learn the rights, privileges and responsibilities of franchised citizens. The training is objective and centers on the structure of city, county and state governments. Star Post 309 also sponsors young women to attend Girls State, a similar program facilitated by the American Legion Auxiliary.

 

Other programs we support are the Southern California Special Olympics, the Law Enforcement Torch Run, and the Young Marines, a program which strengthens the lives of America’s youth by teaching the importance of self-confidence, academic achievement, honoring our veterans, good citizenship, community service, and living a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

        There is also a Banquet Lunch only option for $30 if you'd like to just attend the awards banquet.
