The American Legion has launched the 2022 100 Miles for Hope campaign. Held from now until Labor Day (September 5), the event encourages veterans, family, and friends to raise funds for the American Legion Veterans and Children Foundation in a manner that promotes health and wellbeing through physical activity.
To make things more interesting, the veterans in the LASD and members of Star Post 309 have challenged the veterans in the NYPD and members of the NYPD Post 460 to a friendly competition to see who can log the most miles and raise the most funds. Our Sheriff Villanueva issued the challenge to the NYPD himself. View the video below.
